Description
The Ministry of Culture has implemented, since June 1, 2024, three new circuits and 10 routes to visit the Inka City of Machupicchu, as a conservation and management measure, allowing a controlled flow of visitors in the authorized areas, avoiding the risk of damage, guaranteeing the quality of the experience and visitor satisfaction.

Se caracteriza por ofrecer opciones de vistas amplias o panorámicas de la Ciudad Inka de Machupicchu y sus montañas sagradas, como espacio de vinculación con las deidades andinas. Tiene cuatro (4) rutas, las cuales te llevan a la parte más alta de Machupicchu y te conducen por caminos estrechos, disfrutando de una extraordinaria escenografía paisajística, donde se disfruta de las vistas más impresionantes de la Ciudad Inka y su entorno, que va más allá de la foto clásica. Cada ruta demanda un esfuerzo físico diferente, compensable con la belleza cautivante de su arquitectura, la organización espacial de sus edificios construidos en la montaña y la armonía que guardan con la naturaleza.
Circuit routes:
It is characterized by combining the visit to the mid-level terraces and the entire urban area of the Inka City of Machupicchu. You will walk through buildings used as dwellings and ritual spaces for observing the stars. It has two routes that require moderate physical effort.
Circuit routes:
It is made up of four routes and is characterized by visiting the most sacred and important spaces occupied by the Inka royalty, such as the Temple of the Sun, the House of the Inka, the Temple of the Condor, among others. This circuit requires little physical effort. If you choose to walk up the Huaynapicchu or Huchuypicchu mountains or head to the Great Cavern, greater physical effort and more time are required.
